
Overview: The course presents the student with thorough and comprehensive understanding of Dawah. Every student of knowledge and aspiring caller to Islam will benefit greatly from the principles covered in this course.
The student will not only learn the beauty and benefit of calling to the way of Allah but will also learn about the qualities of the caller, method of the caller, method of the Prophets of Islam, the method of communication in the Quran, the example of the Prophet Muhammad (S) and his companions (RA) and much more.
Upon completing the course the student will be motivated to begin the journey of calling to Allah and will be equipped with sufficient knowledge and wisdom to perform this task.
The text that will be used is entitled “The Principles of Dawah” written by Shaykh Goma’a Ameen who spent his life in the path of Dawah providing him with sufficient experience and wisdom to provide the student.
Course Objectives: upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the purpose and benefit of Dawah
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic fiqh of Dawah
- Demonstrate an understanding of the qualities of the Caller to Allah
- Demonstrate an understanding of the methodology of Prophets of Islam
- Demonstrate an understanding of the methodology of communication taught by the Quran
- Demonstrate an understanding of the methodology of Dawah performed by the Prophet (S) and his companions (RA).
- Demonstrate an ability to call to the way of Allah based on the method of the Quran and Sunnah
- Translate the knowledge they attain into a practical program of action

Examinations and Course Credit: A final exam will be provided to the students. Upon passing the final examination with minimum acceptable grade of 70%, the student will attain course credit.
